Do I need Gourmet World App to place an order using my mobile phone?

No, you don't. You can perfectly place an order at Gourmet World using your mobile device and without installing our App. Our store's responsive design is really advanced and it's also highly user-friendly. However, using Gourmet World app makes easier and quicker your overall shopping experience and gives you exclusive benefits, such as in-App discounts, promos or Same day delivery, in case your delivery address is within 10Km from Rockdale, Sydney NSW.

What are the conditions to get my gourmet groceries delivered the same day?

Only if you place your order using Gourmet World App you can get a same day delivery service.

In order to get your order delivered the same day, your delivery address must be within our Free local delivery area (10Km radius from Rockdale NSW 2216).

What is the last time of a day I can place an order to get it delivered the same day?

Only orders received before 12pm will be delivered during the same day.

Orders received after 12pm will be delivered in the next 24h after the time the order has been placed.

Do I need to be home to receive the delivery?

By default, parcels within our Free Local Delivery program are sent as Authority to leave. That means that our drivers doesn't need to obtain a signature when delivering the parcels. In case no one is at home when our drivers attempt to deliver, they will contact the recipient by phone and SMS and will leave the parcel in a safe place, where is not visible from the street.

Gourmet World Foods is not liable for any loss or damage to the parcel for the orders sent as Authority to leave. Consider to specify clear delivery instructions to minimise risks if no one is at home or opt for a standard paid delivery at checkout.

In case of a failed attempt of local delivery because no one is at home and our drivers couldn't find a safe place to leave the parcel, the order will be considered a standard delivery and the corresponding shipping costs will apply to complete the delivery. Alternatively, you can opt for a refund of the order amount less a delivery fee of $6 to cover our first attempt of delivery.

Please note that we can't deliver local orders with postage free to PO Boxes. You will always need a residential address to meet the eligibility criteria for our Free Local Deliveries.

Are all Gourmet World Local Deliveries Contactless?

Yes, all Gourmet World Local deliveries are Contactless. That means that the products you order are prepared under the health and safety standards recommended by the authorities and all the points of contact between our drivers and customers are minimised or eliminated.

Our driver will leave your order at your door or where requested, will ring or knock and then step back at least 1.5 metres until the parcel is collected.

What type of Groceries can Gourmet World deliver Free?

We can deliver free all the gourmet groceries and food gifts that you can buy in our store: Italian groceries, German foods, Australia made gourmet foods, Gift sets and more!

Is Gourmet World Free Local Delivery Program a temporary delivery option?

Yes, We are promoting our Grocery Delivery Services and this is a temporary Program, so take advantage of this fantastic opportunity if you are living or have a delivery address in the Sydney's Eastern Suburbs!!
